Thank goodness for the Good Souls

Feel sick after every meal, I take,
'Cause I know the life from your burning wing, won't wait,
Sleep, I sleep every day,
Wipe the cobwebs away, I need to be loved,
Christ I'm out of my mind,
I need to be loved, I need to be loved,

So I turn to you and I say,
Thank goodness for the Good Souls that make life better,
So I turn to you and I say,
If it wasn't for the Good Souls, life would not matter,

Dive straight in on your girlfriend,
Making her feel like there's gonna be a war.
Dive, straight in at the deep end,
Making you feel like there's gonna be a war.

So I turn to you and I say,
Thank goodness for the Good Souls that make life better,
So I turn to you and I say,
If it wasn't for the Good Souls, life would not matter,

One good day of the week and I'll be up again,
One good day of the week I'll be higher than the Government,

So I turn to you and I say,
Thank goodness for the Good Souls that make life better,
So I turn to you and I say,
If it wasn't for the Good Souls, life would not matter,

So I turn to you and I say,
You're messing with a good heart,
You've gotta take what's due.

When I heard James Walsh of Starsailor sing " Good Souls" live at the Popscene Lily Allen show, it hit me as really appropriate. I was really happy and thankful to be there with some of my best friends, without who I would not have been able to get through a real difficult 6 months or so. This year I have really come to the realization that life is too short to waste it worrying, but rather you should put yourself in an environment where you can be truly happy. I am really excited about all the new opportunities that will come my way in the new year, and thank you to all the Good Souls who I know who make me happy.

Here is another Xmas treat both strange and cute Bing and Bowie singing "Little Drummer Boy" enjoy:

Rockin around the Xmas Tree

I love my Christmas tree, it totally looks like the Charlie Brown tree and is kinda sad looking but, it also has a hot dog and Velvet Elvis ornament on it....

Tomorrow is the Yelp Christmas Party at the CA Academy of Sciences, I am super stoked to drink and eat tasty treats while watching the penguins.

Also I was just watching Oprah and is it just me or is Il Divo like the New Kids for soccer moms? Each time one of them walked out one by one to sing their song the women looked straight crazy like they were about to rip their clothes off. It reminded me of this awesome SNL skit about Oprah's favorite things:

It is no secret that I am a total musical nerd, so this clip which has been circulating on the blogs as made my day. I love me some Doogie and Nick from Freaks and Geeks singing Les Miz.
